Yep, I told DH the other day that I have more gas than the Hindenburg! He's out of town this week so he's missing out on that treat.

Oh, and I'm craving junky fast food. : At 10:30 yesterday morning I had 2 orders of chicken nuggets & some fries from Wendy's. We usually don't eat fast food but boy, I just couldn't resist.

I am really wanting to fire up the crock pot...it's so hard to get to the end of the day and THEN have to cook dinner. There is a great crock pot thread in the nutrition and good eating section. (I don't know how to post the link.)

Any great crockpot ideas here?

my favorite crockpot recipe...
shredded cabbage,
browned ground beef,
can of diced tomatoes,
tomatoe juice,
sliced med onion,
mushrooms,
add oregano and red peper.
cook all day and serve on brown/wild rice

i got all those ingreds today, but i forgot the cabbage went to the isle for it, but got distracted by the bright colors of bell peppers!

I did get the cottage cheese which i'm eating

I am glad you brought up the crock pot subject because I bought mine about 2 months ago and I have to say so far I do not like the food that comes out of it!! I don't know if it's me or the recipes I am picking, but it just tastes weird! My DH does not like it either. I did chili in it and I did not like that either and I do like chili otherwise. The food that comes out of crock pot has very characteristic, strong taste. Maybe I just need to get used to it, but I don't like throuwing food away all the time.
Anyone else had that when they start using crock pot at first?

anyone noticing their achy joints yet? or is it because i'm old.
Wow, something hit me when I read your post. My last pregnancy I had major tooth pain throughout. Sure enough, it started again a week ago. Ok, granted I have a bit of a trainwreck in my mouth, but I wonder if my periodontal ligaments are giving me the same trouble that your joints are? Does relaxin kick in this soon? Crazy!

On the crockpot subject. Last week I made a roast but unfortunately I'm in the "i eat it once and then hate it" zone so I have a whole lot of roast/potatoes/carrots sitting in my freezer and it will most likely get frostbite before I want to see it again! And dh hates leftovers. (Could he be ANY more difficult?) In his defense he is bringing me home a papa johns pizza with pineapple and green pepper tonight. I better enjoy it before I start to hate it.

Its amazing how I'm running the gamut of symptoms. I'm past the major gas too! I felt like I looked more pregnant a few weeks ago than I do now because I was so bloated before!

This dizzyness is really getting to me. I've broke down crying 2 times. I'm mourning the fact that I haven't worked out in 3 days. I feel like such a slacker. I hope that second trimerster energy burst hits me right at 13 weeks.

we put green peppers and pineapple on our pizza too!

sorry about your teeth pain, Zippymama. Relaxin gets going right away. I wouldn't be suprised if that what's causing your mouth grief. At least it disappears at the birth of your baby, but that can seem like a long ways away right now.

"i got all those ingreds today, but i forgot the cabbage went to the isle for it, but got distracted by the bright colors of bell peppers! "

-this is totally me. pregnancy brain is bringing out my inner adhd, i think. i can't even knit.

as far as the crock pot goes, i usually like it and it does sound like a good plan what with the laziness and not feeling good i'm doing...but i don't think i could stomach the food smells all day and night? anyone?

whoever said guilty about not working out (too lazy to look it up)-i say pah! i'm just glad if i make it thru the work day w/o puking, let alone working out when i get home. maybe next week so hooray to you for even working out somedays!

i've cried 3 times this week, just from not feeling well too. apparently i'm pathetic as a man at being sick
hang in there mamas!

I have been feeling a bit queasy, usually if I eat something I feel a lot better. I have been having headaches, and dizziness. Of course I am exhausted too.
The nipples are starting to get sore now. That didn't happen last time around, but then again I also didn't have a toddler latching on for a snack every hour! The night time feedings wake me up a bit more now since it is starting to hurt a bit.

I'm incredibly tired and nauseated. I could sleep all day, if I didn't have other children. I don't think it's as bad as with the twins, though.

Nursing is starting to get fairly uncomfortable, too.
I still barely feel pregnant. NO sore nipples (but again, nursing have never been really comfortable for me since day one so I might be used to it) no nausea, although I can feel it's going to start soon. Definetly not that hungry either or tired!! I took PG test yesterday just to make sure I was still PG! And it was positive.

Ugh yes. Tired beyond belief, nauseated all day especially when I don't eat for 2 hours, and so very very constipated.

Also have the bloody nose/ bloody gums when I brush I had this with my first too. Something about the mucus membranes getting thinned out...

soooo...tired...
I wake up happy, feeling well rested, enthusiastic...and I am totally worthless after about 2:00. Napping is a nightmare for me - I wake up so groggy I can't even figure out where I am, and it takes forever to get out of it. (and yet my kids are both asleep and instead of going to bed I am here on MDC! I just want 10 minutes of quiet if you know what I mean)

Oh, and I can't remember anything, or even finish a sentence half the time. I'll walk into a room, look at DH, and say "What the heck am I doing in here?" I love preggo brain.

Despite the fact that I had NO morning sickness with Parker...at exactly six weeks this time it set in. Wahhh.
I've been dealing with the queasies since last Thursday. With each of my four pregnancies it has set in right as I finish week six - usually at 5w5d or 5w6days. Thankfully, I am still able to eat, which I wasn't able to do with the first two. I simply couldn't get food down and it just got worse and worse. I'm hoping it's more like with my last pregnancy where if I kept eating I could keep it under control.

Now, as soon as the morning sickness ends, the inability to pee will set in. I'm not sure which is worsel :

I just had my first case of constipation. I was sitting there panicking because if I can't handle the pain of constipation how am I ever going to deliver a baby! I'm certainly going to start drinking loads of water....
I haven't been following this thread very closely...but I so far have had just about every symptom I've ever heard of. Sometimes (usually in the evenings) I feel ok, but mornings are rough and there are some days that I just cry because I feel so miserable.

That said, I'm so tired I can barely stand it. I take at least one nap a day. I sleep fitfully at night, though, which sucks. I feel nauseated most of the day. (Have only thrown up a couple of times, luckily.) My boobs are sore. I burp like you wouldn't believe (well--you guys probably would!). And I've experienced constipation for the first time in my life. Eewww.

But I have a question--do any of you get mild cramping occasionally still? I don't have it all the time, but sometimes I just have this pain in what must be my uterus that just HURTS. It is never accompanied by spotting or bleeding, but I never know what to make of it. Sometimes, I suspect it may be related to not having eaten enough yet that day (or not having enough water??). But I'm not positive...

(Edited to add that I am 8w3d today.)
