ack - I have the sniffles!

Just lovely - I know it's that time of year, but this is soooooo not what any of us need right now!

I've consumed way too much sugar in the past few days so I'm sure that is contributing. Hopefully, better nutrition and lots of rest will help. Does anyone else have other suggestions? I've heard some good things about the Rainbow Light prenatal "get well" supplement.

My mom just told me last night that she just made a huge batch of her homemade chicken and rice soup. It's in the freezer now and will be coming with her when she comes to help with the baby. I wish I could have a bowl right now!

We take Emergen-C profilactically and double it up when we are sick. 2 on normal days and 4 on sick days.

i suggest really strong ginger/mint tea with a lemon juiced and a big squeeze of honey mixed in ..drink ALL day as hot as possible!

im still sick, but i feel a lot better for it!

& rest.. rest.. rest!

Ack! I woke up this morning with the sniffles as well. I really hope I can beat this cold off, because I can't imagine laboring with my head this stuffy!

I'm trying my favorite homepathic cold-fighting preperation (Natura-Bio Head Cold relief tincture), lots of tea with rosehips, a steamy shower, and EmergenC. Plus, just laying about like a lump and as much sleep as I can manage what with being roughly the size of patagonia and with a still very active baby.

Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon!

Sorry you're sick Hope labor holds off till you're feeling better.

Sorry I don't have anything to recommend- I've tried all different things at different times, but never consistently enough to know what works (if that makes any sense!)

Sorry you are sick... had a nasty cold myself last week and I know how miserabel you must feel. Take lots of vitamin C and get plenty of rest.

I actually forgot about this thread. LOL Luckily it turned out to be nothing! I've still been trying to get plenty of rest and nutritious foods though.

Ugh, me too! I've been doing everything I can, including the EmergenC, tea, tea, tea, water, water, water, steaming in the shower, etc.

Is there anything else?

I even resorted to Afrin, but was thwarted by discovering it was expired! :
