Hi Ladies!

Just wanted to let you all know, in case you are in the area of Boston, that there is a RESOLVE conference next weekend. Here's the link...

http://www.resolveofthebaystate.org/

Is anyone here going? I think my husband and I will go, though it is quite a fee for us...

Also, in my quest for a recommended provider, I will try one more time... Anyone recommend a great RE in the BOS or Southcoast areas?

TIA and hope you all are well! Paige

I usually check out the offerings, and it looks like it could be very helpful. Both the actual factual stuff, and the emotional side of being able to talk about it. But the $$ makes it completely off limits.
Enjoy.

The Resolve Conf

Hi all!

The conference was a really good introduction to the treatments and the emotional side. The Resolve folks are great...and I think they have some really good support groups so I would highly recommend checking out the Mass chapter website.

As far as cost goes...they do have a scholarship program through a grant so there is opportunity to attend. This is what we were able to do in the end, and I am sorry I didn't post it here. I had a pretty packed week and didn't even come back on line here...anyway, it was posted on their website.

As far as seminars go you can get a good taste by going to their website to see what was on offer. My husband and I went to a bunch of different treatment info sessions to see what they had to say about different drugs and stats re ago, egg production, and sperm issues. It was a lot of info to absorb, and because we do not yet know what our issue is (or if we ever will) we tried to get as wide a rang as possible for an introduction to infert treatments, options...donor, carrier, surrogate, adoption... a lot of info. The presenters where Drs or Social Workers/ Folks with infertility hx.

We also found out that RESOLVE does do full day seminars, or information days on different topics like adoption...etc.

Good stuff!

Paige
