Hey all! Welcome Cutiebearmom! We look forward to chatting with you.

Okay- sorry I wasn't around since my specialist visit- the weekend totally got away from me. The specialist was awesome- he was really thourough and talked to me like a human being, not a stupid 1st grader. He said that the cysts are pretty common and he has seen thousands of them. Since there are no other abnomalities, and the babies are active( damn are they ) he said that both babes are going to be fine.

He also said that I don't have to restrict myself like my older doc said. He cautioned against skydiving and rollerblading, but gave me the go ahead on just about everything else. He said that I need to keep my strength up, and doing less and less will make my recovery harder. He said that when I get tired, to put my feet up.

I was sooooooo relieved after the appt and DH and I dressed up and went to a cocktail party. I wore the red leapord velvet maternity dress I had from Evan I was hot!!

Our anniversary was the next day, but we didn't do anything really special. I was wiped out from the cocktail party and the stress from the last couple of weeks.

Okay I'll stop and go catch up on the rest of the thread.........

glad to hear the appt went well Liz.

Liz ... : I'm so glad things went ok -- and that you got to have some fun, too!

I have a PSA for everyone ... be careful about telling off other drivers when there is an almost 2 year old who parrots everything sitting in the backseat. You will be amazed at what they remember and repeat 20 minutes later in the middle of Whole Foods at full volume, "what an a**h***." :

I have had that one happen to me before.

i'll have to write an extra-long message next time to make up for these.

any idea how to get jasper to sleep past 5:15am? he's killin' me! girlie is usually up then too... popular time around here. sigh -- they're ganging up on me already!

when jonathan used to wake early(not that early though) it was because the room was too bright. i put a dark sheet over my curtains at night till i got darker curtains.

I cant imagine it's very light out at 5:15am right now though.
Maybe if you leave the room w/millie when she wakes at that time?

Cute story-
me and jelly just sat on the floor with her babies and sang rock-a-bye baby to them while we rocked them. she sang her own version of the song.
She's trying really hard to sit both of them and herself in the highchair. we did it once but they were all squished so she wanted out.

We were not at the walmart today that got hit by the small plane. Incase anyone is curious. We were there yesterday though(and I never go to that walmart!!) It is a good thing I dont get up early because I was planing to go there again today to buy angelica a bike(better selection tthere than the one i go to)
Jonathan is upset though because it hit Nana's favorite section where she buys her plants and it was so close to the toy section.
He is w/ Nana right now checking it out.
He said his dad will fix it with his tools tomorrow

Oh, Tammy I'm glad you weren't there!

Um, what plane? Was anyone killed? What happened?
appearently it was a small plane, It had just left the manchester airport(couple miles away) I dont believe anyone was seriously hurt, including the person flying the plane.
I only caught the last like 20seconds of it on the 12pm news but it'll be on again at 5 and i set it to tape so incase i forget again.

: Even better is when you are at the play area in the mall and your 4 year old says to your at the time 20 month old VERY loudly "you little shi*" It's said very playfully, like when one of them comes up behind us and puts their cold hands on our back (not that any child of mine would be so mean ) We've since switched to using the word creep instead

I saw a news report online this morning (can't find it now though) it said that the pilot was the only person on the plane and he wasn't seriously injured. They believe he was trying to return to the airport when he crashed. He was headed to Bangor Maine

i hadn't heard about the plane thing either. that's pretty freaky. thank goodness no one was seriously injured.

bec - how goes the nesting?

back to sleep issues:
sad part about the 5:15 wakeup is that jasper is already in his own room, down the hallway from me and the girlie currently in the guestroom. with an alarm clock playing the sound of crickets for some white noise jic (more to block the sound of dh bumbling about in the morning in the master bedroom). there's no light that early, and even if there was we have light-blocking shades that do a halfway decent job in his room. i swear that boy can just sense when i'm up, even the timechange didn't buy me any extra sleep! he's been timing it so he gets up before dh's first alarm, so that's not what's waking him either. i'm stumped. 8-9pm to 5am just doesn't seem like enough, especially since he's already rubbing his eyes 2 hours later (if that). i'm starting to wonder if weaning him would change anything. not willing to try -- yet -- but wonder just the same.

the good news is he's been sleeping through usually till this early wakeup, so long as he's not ill or overtired. the bad news is it doesn't matter much to me since phil deals with jasper's nightwakings and i'm up a few times with the girlie anyway. hohum.

next bad habit i'd like to break him of... sticking his hand in his diaper. big ew. :

okay, time to get back to doing a little work since girlie is asleep on my lap and all the sugar i just ate (leftover mellowcreme pumpkins, mmm) hasn't worn off yet.

My son has always been able to "sense" when I am awake too. On the rare occasion i am up before him it's only for about 15min tops unless he is sick.

Tonight Angelica gave me one of her babies and sat on the floor with the other one. She wanted us to rock them and sing again. After the first time she had us switch babies.
She can be soo sweet sometimes.

Oh, the plane lost an engine. And Jonathan was all silly when I told him the guy had UPS packages. (his daddy works for ups)

Glad noone was hurt in that crash, Tammi. :

Happy Birthday Henry!!!! : : :

Isn't his birthday today? Didn't we have a couple of other birthdays this week?

Sorry if I missed anyone else, but my cold induced fog isn't lifting. :

Gotta run and put the patate to bed.

Thanks, Liz. I can't believe he's 2 already. Where did the time go? He is so not a baby anymore. I miss my baby, but I'm so excited to see and talk to this little person!

Anyway ... hope everyone had a great day!
