How many bedrooms do you have? How many are actually slept in? - Page 2

We have 4 (possibly 5) bedrooms:

1 is nursery where dd plays and diapers are changed

1 is guest room

1 is dh's office

1 (so small it's 1/2 really) is yoga/meditation room (which hasn't been used since dd was born)

1 is bedroom where dh and dd and I sleep in a queen-sized bed

__________

Needless to say when we have enough energy to move again we are going to downsize.

I'm laughing at all the responses! Especially zombiemommie.

Here's ours: 4 br that starts out:
1 for mom and dad
1 for dd#1
1 for dd#2
1 for computer/guest
(and a futon in living room)

By morning it's anyone's guess who's in what bed!!!!! And often we have a 10 yo cousin of mine spend the night and she prefers the futon with dd#1.

We have 2 bedrooms, and as of lately, both are slept in. Our current sleeping arrangement: I sleep in one of the bedrooms, and dh/ds co-sleep in the other.

3 bedrooms
1 ds and I sleep in with an occassional visit from dh
1 is ds's play room
1 is our pc and storage room
and ummm...the living room is where dh sleeps so I guess maybe we have 4?...not good I know but he likes to fall asleep watching the tube and never makes it to bed much....sad huh?

One bedroom condo - and there's the answer to the second question!

3 rooms are set up with beds...one room (and one bed) gets slept in.

Well, we technically have 6. One is in the basement and was the bedroom of the teenaged girl who lived here before we bought the house. I have that set up as my craft room, as it is large and doesn't have normal closets, but a lot of storage area built in. We have a bedroom on our main level that the previous owners used as an office, but we use that as a guest room since our guests mostly can't navigate stairs. If my mom moves in with us, that will become her room. The upstairs has 4 bedrooms, but one is so tiny that it almost doesn't count. We use that as an office, actually. Our daughter has her own room and sleeps there, we sleep in the master bedroom, and there is an extra one just taking up space. But it has a crib, changing table and all the cloth diapers and baby clothes in it. Eventually when our second child, the Lord willing, is old enough, she can have that room. I sleep in the master bedroom with my husband, or sometimes in my daughter's room with her. Lately she's been really restless at night, so I've slept with her which calms her down.
