Birthing Predictions..

for some reason Nov.5th is really stuck in my mind for the day this baby will be born and i just realised that Tomorow is Nov.5th!! im not psychic (at least not for this kind of thing) but now im kinda freaked out. what if i Do have the baby tomorow!!! .. its all so exciting and a bit scary at the same time.. and if i dont then its just all in my head, huh. knowing me ill probably go 10 days over and be like what is going on?? although i was very right about elwynn being early and being a boy and pretty much everyone i knew told me that 1st babies never come early and that i was very surely going to have a girl

does anyone else have birthing predictions?

It's weird, I've had Nov 18th in my head for about 2 weeks. I don't have any idea why, but it's there. I was flipping through my day planner a couple days ago even & when I saw that date my heart did a little flip before my brain could even catch up & go "why are you being weird?! you have no IDEA what day this baby's going to come! don't get your hopes up for nothing!" (and honestly, I'd rather not wait that long!)

If tomorrow's going to be your day fern, well then WOOO HOOOO!

I don't have a specific date.. but up until a few days ago, I thought it was going to be soon.. I'm "due" on the 24th, but really felt like it would be a lot sooner. Then dh and I had a fight the night before last. I woke up thinking "hmmm... I don't have that 'baby is going to be here soon' feeling." We're ok, we made up that night.. but the baby seems to have moved a bit higher up. So now I'm thinking a few more weeks

ah well, give us more time to finish up the house and get things ready I'll have to give dh a kick in the butt if I end up having to move to the Dec. club now

No predications here..just an affirmation I WILL give birth today at dinner time I've been having contrax all early am, fell asleep somehow, and still having contrax, but 15 min+-....I don't want them to go away!! This even works fine for our schedules

Hope you're right, RCM!!! And Fern, I hope you're feeling better now and it'll be ok if your baby comes tomorrow.

My due date is the 14th but I think the baby will come on the 16th - it's a full moon and I have an acupuncture appt the day before, and I think I will ask the MW to do a membrane sweep that day too. If I'm ready to go, all that ought to do it.

Ive been thinking this baby was going to be coming for a long time. My new guess is that she will come on the 8th because that is when I am being induced

well, my baby shower is tomorrow, and i've said all along, i'll have my baby shower, then have sunday to relax w/ dh, monday to clean up after the shower and get all the gifts and things put away and organized, and so then, baby can come Tuesday! or anyday after that would be just fine with me!

My prediction is November 21st because that is DH's B-day. Wouldn't that be cool? What an awesome Birthday present! My only hope is that she comes before my scheduled c-section date of 11/29.

This baby is NEVER coming out. I think I should start knitting a maternity Christmas sweater.
I'm a little grumpy today.

My midwife makes it a point to ask if I have any feeling about when the baby will come. She takes that kind of thing seriously.

But, poor me. I have no clue. I just know that another week of contractions like I'm having is not what I want. I think he'll come before his due date...maybe by a week or more, but I really thought he'd be here by now and I was wrong.

I will be very onery if he's late.

Nov 11th seems to stick with me. Problem is, we dont have very good plans for what to do with Ben on the weekends, as both of our backup care providers work on weekends (MIL and my friend). So next Fri would not be a good day to have a baby.

I am hoping the babe comes next Tues evening, so whoever has to take care of Ben can send him to school for 2 days and only have to deal with him for a few hours in the afternoon. Yes, I have little faith in other peoples ability to properly care for my son!

Since I first found out my due date - Oct. 31st- I figured baby would be born around Nov. 10th instead. It's the 4th now and I really think this baby will be born within the week (even though I usually go 2 wks. late) and I'm really hoping for the next couple days! So maybe my original prediction will be right.

That's so funny babykaoss, I've been saying nearly the same thing. My baby shower is on Sunday, I want to reorganize baby things & gifts on Monday, then on Tuesday I have a 90 min pregnancy massage (gift) that I am sooOooO looking forward to. So, I decided that on Wednesday I'm sending this baby an eviction notice!! I'll be 38 weeks on Wed... probably still too early & I shouldn't get my hopes up, but I AM going to be sending baby "go ahead & come out NOW" messages. So, good luck to both of us! Oh & have fun at your shower!

HA! you might want to send it out sooner than you want the baby out. My baby has seemed to take the 30 day notice policy to heart. I posted her eviction notice all the back on Oct 11th, and she's JUST NOW starting to pack her bags! Hey at least she's packing right?
