how to organize thin paper books?

I have dozens and dozens of those small scholastic type paper books for kids - so thin that some don't have anything written on the spine. How do you organize them? Having them on a regular bookshelf doesn't really work since they get lost between the bigger books, or the kids pull them all out because they are so thin. Anybody have any neat ideas for storing them so that they are still read often?

Put them in a box, like a photo box or an index card holder depending on how many you have. Then if you need one you can pull the box off the shelf and flip through them looking at the fronts.

The box idea should work for larger books too, you'll just need a bigger box.

I have my kids' bookshelves organized by book height and size. So, all the "thin" books are together and the kids can find them more easily.

they are difficult! We have moved away from bookshelves. The boys have trouble putting books away in bookshelves anyway. We still have bookshelves, but in the front room, we just have three rectangular laundry baskets. I put the books in there, front facing out, if that makes sense. Then, they can flip through them andsee what they want.

A similar idea to pp is to have them in litter boxes, front facing out. We don't have room to try this, however, so I just organize them by subject (history, science, etc.) and try to leave enough space on the shelf that my son can flip through them and see the covers.
