While I was waiting for Paxil to really kick in, I found it enough just to know that there was a name--and a solution to the way I was feeling. It was easier to control my emotions and myself. I also had a lot of support from dh and my parents. My folks live in the same town I do and my mom was over a lot when dh couldn't be--especially in the evenings. And since I was also a student, I cut back to the bare minimum committments. I concentrated on only being a mom and my classes.
