Come sign up to host a meet & greet thread!

Come one, come all! I think a great way to get to know everyone here would be to have weekly "Meet so-and-so" threads. The thread would focus on one member of our due date club and we would get to ask her all sorts of questions to find out more about her life, family, dreams, etc.

Sound good? All we need now are some volunteers to host the threads. If everyone volunteers, each person would host one thread and if less then everyone signs up you might host 2 or 3 threads. Your responsibility would be to get the thread posted, start it off with a question or two and help keep it moving for the week. I'll keep a running list of who's hosting for who and let you know who your person is. You will be repaid with lots of good karma.

Well, seeing that we are up to 43 July Mamas, what do you ladies think of starting now? Jackie, do you want to host the first one since you have a good idea of how this all works? (I still need to learn! )

I made an alphabetical list of everyone in the due date sticky and was thinking we could start from the top and the bottom of the list and move towards the middle. Make sense? Since we are doing two people per week, should we do two separate threads or one thread for both people?

Tell you what, let's make a little self-service list here. I'll list everyone who's volunteered so far in order and we'll start from the top, go down the list of hosts and back up to the top at the end of the line. Here we are:
