do you mean october babies still waiting to come out and join the rest of the world? Uh yeah. My little one is still stuck. I don't know why the heck she is taking so long. Doesn't she know that daddy and I can't give her hugs and kisses when she's in there? LOL someone here mentioned though that it may be the father's genes that are responsible for late babies. I read that and yelled at my husband "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!" (just kidding of course) We weren't certian of dates so I could be anywhere from 44weeks to 42 weeks, but anyway you look at it, it's time for her to come out already!

My first 2(different dad) came the day after my due date...my second 2 with my now DH were 16 and 10 days past my due date so I believe the father genes theory!

wow I feel so lonely on this thread, no one left but me... C'mon Caia, It's nice out here! Well it's nice to know that at least she likes it in there, even if she does like it TOO much. I bought a stethoscope so I could listen to her heart, it's so quiet through a stethoscope, but it's strong, I like listening to it This is torture I tell ya! I just want to hold her and kiss her and she won't come out. We are still hanging around and are here for you. I'm sure you are super anxious to meet your baby. I started getting anxious and impatient at about 36 or 37 weeks so I can only imagine how you feel. I can't wait to hear the news of when she arrives.

nope no progress. I had about 2 days straight of steady contractions after an acupuncture apointment, then just irregular contractions the 2 days after that, and now nada. Every once in awhile I'll get a contraction when I'm out for a walk, but unfortunatly 1 contraction isn't gonna get a baby out . She still throws her nightly parties in there so I'm not worried about her health (this girl will not move before 9pm no matter how much I poke her or shake my belly, she's dead asleep. As soon as 9pm hits, she's dancing nonstop for the next 6-7 hours. I figure she's partying all night so she has to sleep it off during the day ) I'm just sitting around waiting for her, she is more than welcome to come out at any time. Hey she can't stay in there much longer than a week or 2 right?

my friend just had her 4th baby and he was 26 days late. all her kids go over term...she has 11 brothers and sisters and all the women in her family have way "overdue" babies...no-one has had a baby before 43 weeks i think..usually more.

Aww Bailey she just likes the month of November better, thats all. Hang in there! The thing that kept me going (not that I went THAT long!) was "She can't stay in there forever" It WILL happen... at the right time


I'm doing okay. Tired. My boys have been sick for the past week, not all at once of course - the oldest then the next two a few days later. I'm tired. The baby is awesome, the addition of number four has been much easier than any of the others.
