SO I went for the u/s and everything is fine...

Baby is head down, fluid looks good, everything looks good.

And I saw. You couldn't miss it. 38 weeks without knowing the gender only to have BIG BALLS staring me in the face. Yep, it's a boy!

Honestly, I can't say I bummed about knowing. In fact, the whole experience kind of re-energized me for the rest of this pregnancy. Like I think I've said, I've been nervous a lot throughout the whole time, like worried about something being wrong, and seeing him (HIM! wow!) today and seeing that he is just fine and everything is going right has really just made me feel a lot better. I feel like a weight has been lifted.

Now to just wait till he decides to arrive!

I was pretty sure it was a girl. DH knew it was a boy. I am just feeling so elated right now, it's almost like finding out all over again that I'm pregnant.

Great, I'm so glad everything was ok and you got a sneak peek at your baby! I had been following your saga but wasn't able to post until now! Sorry you found out the gender so late in the game, but it sounds like you're excited about it, and YAY on another boy!! I think having 2 brothers would be nice

Glad to know everythings is OK. I think he wanted you to know what he was. Our little boy did the same thing. During his u/s, he was face up and transverse. Horibile for getting the measurements, but great to find out the gender. Babies are funny that way.
