Mild Cramping?

Has anyone else been experiencing mild cramping? It's not particularly painful but is noticeable, like both a tightening and stretching at once. I don't remember this this early last time, but I guess things start happening a little earlier with subsequent pregnancies?

I think because I know this time what I stand to lose, I'm more aware (and afraid) of every little thing. Looking for a little reassurance I guess.

Hi there! I can only tell you what has happened to me.

With my miscarriage, I felt cramping, and it got more severe (accompanied by spotting, which turned to bleeding). - - this all happened within 24 hours.

When pg with my son, I had mild cramping/pulling/stretching/aching in the first few months.

With this pg, I have the same cramping/pulling/stretching/aching. It's become fairly regular (I pretty much feel it all day), and the feelings are much stronger/powerful.

I think that it's pretty normal. I have read that with subsequent pregnancies, it's much more noticable....

Try not to worry, mama!

i have had some minor cramping on either side, and like you describe: tightening & stretching. my midwife said that with 2nd+ pregnancies, your body just gets an early start on what it knows is coming.

she did say if the cramps seemed to progress or if they were accompanied by any blood, to give her a call asap.

hth.

Thanks mamas. The cramping is definately not getting more severe and there's been no sign of blood. I'm almost hesitant to call it cramping it's so not painful.

I've got it, too.
It's definitely noticible.

Yes. I didn't expect cramping......
But I have it, more at night. And mostly when I get up after sitting for a while.

I get abdominal cramping when I move suddenly or when I stretch my abs too much too soon. Like you said, it doesn't hurt, but it is definitely noticeable. I've been getting this type of feeling since about 10DPO!!

I had it early on with all three.

I've been having some pains on my right side, where my ovary would be. It feels sharp and pinching like I feel during ovulation. Don't think its gas because it would have moved by now! I wonder why the ovaries would ache when you're pregnant!
