Complete previa - Page 2

Kat, Hi, I just searched placenta previa on mdc and came across this thread. I was told Saturday (Nov 12) that I have a marginal previa at 25 weeks....
I'm also not in any risk category and am a bit overwhelmed by all of the info out there....
Was planning a home birth this time (had a hospital birth with dd, an unplanned home birth with ds)....
Just feeling like a fish out of water while we just wait and wait and wait to see what happens....

Have your practioners (I'm sorry do you have a mw or a dr?) made any statements about your care so far in terms of rest, lifting, sex etc or just 'we'll see how it goes' for right now?

Just curious. Just trying to find out for myself if the hb is now completely out of the picture or if its still a possibility.... And then beyond that what about c-section....
Looks like you're in a similar boat. You have more previa but also more time to move I suppose.

Good luck.

Hi, Andi,

I'm sorry this is happening to you! It's such a blow to find out that you have to make alternative birth plans in case things don't go the way you want them to go. I'm finding more peace with it, after remembering that my last birth didn't go the way I'd planned, either, and I still call it the most empowering experience of my life.

I finally re-connected with my mw and I understand better what she was trying to tell me. She was giving me all my options, and she's feeling hopefull, too, while still giving me the reality check that I need. I'm still feeling confident that this will move, especially after hearing from several friends that this same thing happened to them. If it doesn't I'm lucky enough to have other good options.

Keep in touch and PM me if you want someone to talk to!

I will keep in touch. Glad there's someone else out there in a similar boat to talk to.

ladies. Just reiterating what the PPs have said. Try to stay in that positive zone. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for happy resolutions to your situations. Much love, mamacatsbaby
