Who has an intense sense of smell???

So, today I took my kids to see "Chicken Little" at the theater. No sooner do I walk into the theater am I smelling the popcorn, butter (fake butter), salt, wet shoes, dirty coats, etc....
Then we go find our seats....and OMG, I just have to say that it took everything inside me to not vomit while I was watching the movie. I would of got up and left if it hadn't been for my children. Having to leave would of broke their hearts....
So I just dealt with it....the young boy in front of us, every time he lifted his arms I got the overpowering smell of B.O. and everytime he would shift in his seat I could smell dirty boy smells... : I am being totally serious....
I can laugh now, but boy at the time...it was soooooo bad. :
The the person behind me had their feet on the seats and I could smell the rubber on the soles of his shoes...
The list goes on and on....

So, who else smells everything within a mile????

I'm having the opposite experience!

I had a super sense of smell before getting pg. I used to be able to tell what people had in their front garden as I biked past their house. Since getting pg, it has actually diminished. I don't get it.

me, me, me! mostly i'm being driven crazy by body lotions, perfumes and colognes ... even the slightest smell is way too intense for me. so i guess no malls for a while.

i remember when i was pg before, dh & i would be walking down the street somewhere, and i could smell the public bathrooms from many blocks away. ugh ugh ugh.

Oh yeah. Ugh. My dh will be in the bathroom and come out and I can smell the poop that he just released! I can smell everything and it is driving me BATTY! This is how I was with my other two also, just an intesified sense of smell. YUCK!

My problem is my two year olds diapers! There is no chance of missing when he needs to be changed!!! Fried foods also make me a little nauseaus, but... that was true before this pregnancy too!!!

I think this is one of the only symptoms I am having that makes me know I am pregnant. My husband was sitting next to me last night and I asked him if he took a shower because I could smell his "after a long day, before a shower" smell so much more than usual. He also brushed his teeth and then not long after the smell of his breath was getting to me!

I can smell my new tennis shoes that are sitting across the room and at work someone put perfume on in the locker room and I could smell it way out in the OR where I was working.

At least my lotions, perfumes and other things aren't getting to me in a bad way.

Me!! I noticed this two days before I even found out I was pregnant. I was in class and some girl's perfume 2 rows away was making me want to throw up. Oh and I can't eat good cheese anymore because now it smells like feet to me!
