2happymamas, wow, lots going on in your lives right now. I do hear you on how life throws you curve balls you and just have to go with it. I hope it all works out very well for you and your family.

Megin, sorry you didn't O on clomid. Are you upping your dose next time? Good luck for this next cycle.

We start the injections today and are looking to do an egg retrieval on the 20th or 22nd of this month. However, any viable embryos will be frozen until the first of March and then transferred to me.

**keeping our fingers crossed for lots and lots of great viable embryos**

2happymamas - fingers crossed for lots of freezable embies!!!!

RIght now my partner is at the RE getting the embies from my eggs transfered to her!!!! Hopefully we'll have good news for Thanksgiving!

I am watching the other kiddos (they don't exactly make a relaxing environment for a tranfer)

She's also doing acupunture before and after transfer which may be something to check out when you get to that stage. She loves it.

She just called and they transfered 4 embies (he said they are high quality, and two were "compacted" moving to blastocyst stage after 3 days!)

Good luck to you guys with the shots and all!

welcome all the new posters!

our update is this...
i went today for my CD12 ultrasound to check for follicles. This is my first month on clomid (CD3-7), and I doubt I O'd last month, and know I didn't the month before. So, there were 2 ready to O (at 18 and 17, whatever that means -- something to do with their size), and another possible (at 11). So, I took my shot of ovidrel this morning, and we'll be inseminating tomorrow morning.
I don't post on the regular ttc threads anymore, cause I got too obsessed, and I really need to try to relax about all this.
Anyways, if we are successful, you guys will be notified for sure!

Hi everyone,

I have posted on this board for a while but haven't on this thread. My DP & I are currently TTC#3 (we have 2 yr old twin girls) via frozen embryo transfer (FET). Our 1st FET was a BFN so now I'm CD14 on our 2nd cycle.

Just wanted to say Hi !

KLJCO4 i saw on your signature Natural FET - haven't heard of that - what's it about - only natural hormones maybe?

Hi mamastotwo,

Natural FET means Frozen embryo transfer with no drugs. I had 4 embryos left from the IVF cycle that produced my girls and I have a regular cycle, ovulate on my own so chose not to use the injections.

We have to maximise our chances as we only have theses embryos and one vial of our donor's sperm (huge shortage of sperm in Australia).

We had our embryo transfer yesterday. We decided to use our last 2 remaining embryos (one didnt survive the thaw process ) I'm 4dpo so I'm in the 2ww with you Michelle.
