Hello all. My beautiful wife and I are pregnant with our first a baby buy due March 03! We used a known donor and were very lucky as it took only 3 months. We have a fabulous lesbian OB and her pregnancy has been uneventful. Can't wait for our little guy though and the anticipation is unbearable for us both!!!! so happy to have found this site!

hi everyone,
i think i got lost for about 3 months and am back on the forums. My partner & I are hoping to inseminate within a month. We are trying to time it right to be born after I'm done my MA thesis, but before I'd go off & do my PhD.
This will be our first month, and I am being hopefully but also realize that I have to be patient.

Good luck with your first insemination, may it be your last! We're closing in on the end of our first tww and were so hopeful and really believed Sacha was pregnant. But, two BFNs later and after three days of spotting and cramping (NOT normal at all) things aren't looking great for us. I think AF is circling the wagons. This LP has definately been out of the norm, so we don't know if there was fertilization and partial implantation or what. Feeling blue today and just ready to get onto the next cycle. We're planning to have progesterone levels checked at 7dpo next time.

Thanks Megan, and I wish you and Sacha the best. I am still trying to learn the abbreviations, but I got the gist of what you were saying, and I feel your pain. I think it is amazing how trying can be so joyful and exhausting and frustrating. But hopefully with the progesterone levels checked it will go better. Good luck.

How is everyone doing?
I am excited to announce that I am moving over from the ttc side of things to the pregnant side! Woo-hoo! It finally worked, on our third attempt for baby #3 (we had to take two months off in the middle, so we're five months into the ttc journey). So far (two weeks and two days post insemination), everything's going well! I'm already feeling quite pregnant, so I think that's a good sign. We are due in November.

I'd love to hear about how all the other pregnant mamas and ttc mamas are feeling these days. . .

Hope things are amazing and smooth with this babe.

We are officially starting TTC #2 in July, but since we decided to actually go ahead with it I really can't wait! I'm so jealous of everyone I know of who is pregnant, I can't wait to get my hands on the new babes I meet, etc. It feels like forever until July and then five times forever until a new babe of OURS is actually in my arms. Ugh. I'll be patient. I'm wiling away the time buying new cloth diapers. Go figure!

I understand Megin. We formed our denfinate plans to start TTC this January LAST February. So, we had to wait a whole year to get going and it was no fun at all! Now we're finally here trying but still no baby on the way. Sigh. Too much waiting in this business.

Wow, congrats to you too! So exciting! And number 4...wow.

Our temps are looking good so far but Sacha's had a temp for two days so who knows if it means anything.

Ok, this simply made no sense. I meant to say that she's had a cold for two days and so not sure if it's elevating her temps. She hasn't had a fever during the day though, so who knows. Oh, this wait is starting to feel very long now.

Oh my goodness! Congratulations!!! Did you hope to get pg at the same time or were you just upping your chances by both trying at the same time? Did you use the same donor? Wow, what a journey you have ahead of you! Best wishes!

Lex, Sacha's cold is over and now her temp dipped a little. Trying to stay positive but wondering if it's the beginning of the end.

well in reality abit of both. i have Poly cystic ovary syndrome and endodemetriosis and only have one ovary due to having to have to removed from multiple recurring cysts. i was told after my last operation that i only had a 5% chance of falling pregnant again.

we have always wanted to be pregnant at the same time so we decided to try but deep down we both thought DW would be the one to become pregnant first and then i would eventually/maybe.

weve spent half the day in shock that our dreams have come true. even sitting here now its hard to believe that we r both pregnant.

we did use the same donor. its also the same donor that we used with my son as well. and he is happy to donate again if we wish to have any more. (at the moment we think 4 kids will enough but who knows we might want more)

I am 23 weeks pregnant now, just ticking away with life and counting down
this is definately our last child! Three is enough for us
