Bead swapper look here... size info

I got to the bead store today and figured out the size of stringing material so you will know what size holes your beads need to have. I am going to use a 1mm waxed cotton cord or the 1mm hemp cording. I am leaning towards the cotton because it seemed easier to work with and I liked the looks of it. So the point of this is your beads should have a hole that will fit 1mm cording. I think that is roughly the size of a toothpick, but the easiest thing is just to test it at the bead store. Here is a link to some waxed cotton cord in case you want to check it out.

Looks good to me! So, do you want us to send you a couple of bucks to pay for it? How do you want us to work that?

I think the $1.00 I am requesting to cover shipping and supplies should work fine. The cording is $ .75 cents a yard at the local bead store, I can't see needing more than @ 5 yards.

Can the beads be any size as long as the hole is suitable for 1mm thread?

Thanks Lydia

Yes, beads can be any size, just make sure the hole is big enough. I say the more variety the better.
