Finally as I enter my 38 weeks of pregnancy, my friend and I finally coordinated our schedules (around sick days, christmas holidays etc) and today she did the belly cast. She has done many belly cast over the past year as a hobby and so I trusted her to do mine.
I was so nervous though, but wasnt too bad. She didnt put enough around the edge of the breast and the side so that was a bit painful and I had to do my labour breathing (good preparation) as she pulled it off. We put a huge sheet of saran wrap on my hairy belly so that was good. Whew.
My toddler had fun watching the event happening as she applied the strip to my body. I am sure my toddler had no idea what the lady was doing to me. As a nursing toddler I think she was disappointed that my breasts were being covered haha. Kept saying 'milk'.
Now its done. I can breathe and relax. Now the baby has permission to come anytime. (just have to get over this nasty cold I consume over the last few days).
