favorite material for snappis?

Ok, so I have about 10 old poopoockets that I had been pinning. Now, I have need to avoid pins because it is not a good idea for me to risk sticking myself. I want to add a layer of fabric to the dipes that I can snappi. The extra fabric will also be good for extra absorbancy since dd is now more of a heavy wetter. Would you use terry..., prefold twill..., sherpa...? What do you think would hold up best? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!!

Jess from the Diaper Shop says:

The Snappi will fasten... diapers made of typical loose twill or gauze. It also works well on diapers made of birdseye, stretch terry, and hemp french terry. The Snappi will not grip to flannel or tightly woven fabrics.

I like snappis with prefolds, I am ok with snappis with stretch terry. I didn't like snappis with some hemp french terry diapers that I owned. They were fine at first but once my baby started crawling and walking, the snappi came undone every time he wore those diapers. But he was still fine in a prefold. So I figure it was the hemp french terry.

I would go with the stretch terry or birdseye given the same situation, I think.
