I'm looking for the microfiber like the microfiber towels in the auto dept. of target....Where can i order this for my soakers?
Also I am new to sewing and diaper making (havent even started yet!) What is flannel prints good for? I bought a cute print from the local quilting shop, but dont know what to do with it...Can it be a cover for an AIO if I put some pul onderneath it?
Seaking of pul....how do some people have puled material, do they do it themselves? If so how?

I'm wondering about microfiber, too!

Flannel would be a good inner layer for an aio, or a cute fitted dipe. Don't know about the other stuff

I use flannel for the body of my fitteds-- flannel is soft & very absorbant. I wouldn't use it for the outside of aio's or covers, as it will wick terribly. It's great for the absorbant parts of diapers, though-- body, inserts & doublers. Don't know where to get microfiber. I've never used it. You might try wazoodle or fabric dot com.

I've seen a co-op on Yahoogroups order microfiber by the yard, but can't remember which one it was... I'm on most of the ones mentioned at Diaper Jungle , so it's probably one of those.

Flannel is great for fitted diapers or a "true" AIO (ie, the soaker is sewn in and hidden, so you can't just re-use the shell).

The PUL prints people get themselves usually come from DIY co-ops. Again, if you go to the co-ops mentioned above, there are at least 2 of those that have recently or are currently doing a DIY PUL co-op.

I just got some micofiber (like is used in the MOE inserts)from the yahoo group cloth_diaper_supplies. I don't know when she will be ordering more. It's supposed to be as absorbant as hemp french terry, but not weigh as much. I'm going to make inserts out of it
