Serger help, please...

I don't have the snaps on these yet, but isn't this monkey fabric adorable?! Anyway, my problem is in the second pic-- see the loops that the left needle is making? It's not consistent, though. Sometimes you can't see the thread at all & then a little farther on it's looping like that-- what gives? Does anyone know how to fix this? TIA!

I love the fabric and your serging looks really good too! I wish I had advice for the loops...but mine does the same thing. Even with the imbalanced stitches it's still really cute!

Did you figure it out already?

I am wondering if your thread is sitting in all the tension discs, etc. correctly? Sometimes if it is just sort of laying on top of the tension disc and other parts, but not actually IN them, I get that on my machine.

Yeah, I posted the same thing on the pin-- the experts there told me what to do in about 2.2 seconds LOL! I needed to increase the left needle tension (and then loosen the outer looper to compensate). Dang sergers are complicated & irritating machines! :
