What to do w/ jalapeno peppers in a jar? any ideas??

I have 2 or 3 jars of whole jalepenos in my pantry--not sure WHY I bought them....what can I do w/ these? I can't think of anything--any ideas?? (they're in vinegar) Could they go in a homemade salsa?? or better yet..become an appetizer of some sort??

you could put them in chili or salsa, slice and put on nachos,
for an appetizer maybe put a slice on top of the cube of cheese and secure with toothpick, or mince and melt in cheese and use for dip.
Lots of yummy possibilties!

I'm from Tex-Mex country. Down here, people eat them with their food. I can't do it, and don't like jalapeno's, but those are the right kind for slicing and putting on pizzas, you can mince them to make dip. SO's Mom has a simple recipe that she uses for get togethers and stuff:

Velveeta
Can of Cilantro & Tomato
Diced Jalapenos

Stick it in a crock pot and wait for it to heat up.

There's lots of stuff, though. I love spicy food!!

you can put them im anything that needs fresh ones.... guacamole, tacos, chili, spanish beans and rice. i dont like them t0oo much, so i chop them teeny tiny. dh loves them tho (and we're from texas as well, but the army has us in germany right now)

Hey countrymom, here is what you do: Get on the 66, take it to route 112, and drive until you hit the big green bridge in Huntington. I will run out to your car and happily divest you of the jalapenos. I love them!

Or you could use them in nachos or quesadillas, whatever works for you.

I chop them up and put them in chili (perfect chili weather coming! ), slice for pizza, burritos, on top of a baked potato... I like spicy food.

I like the ideas...somehow was always scared---thought they were fire bombs or something----I've actually tried a few of the early ideas w/ them & they're not that scary. thank you all!!!!!

Oh, this brings back memories! When I was a teen we had a local ice cream shop that had THE BEST nachos! They'd give you the chips with cheese on the side and a little dish of slice jalapenos...I'd eat one chip with a pepper, the next without. They were SO good!
