snap size ?

Thread Starter
i am about to order my snap press (finally!!)
i am going to get size 20 snaps, which i was told was the size that most dipes have; FB, S-EZ, etc.
but, do i need the extra long ones? i am going to be making PUL pockets, and Fleece Pockets, maybe a couple AIOs. or are the regular size snaps ok?

TIA!

You need long prong, which is what seems to be standard. You probably don't need the extra long prong unless you're going to be doing really thick stuff. What you're describing probably the long prong (standard) is fine.

I use the standard size for everything. There have been a couple of times that I thought the prong wouldn't be long enough and the've always worked for me.
Sorry for the shameless advertising but I just opened a co-op for polyresin snaps from The Snap Store in size 20 in white, black, natural, pale yellow, fuchsia and lavender. Let me know if you're interested in getting some for your new snap press!
