i want junk food!!!!!!!

does it really matter if i eat a lot of total crap if i'm also eating a lot of healthy stuff? for example, i have NO problem eating a lunch of quinoa with braggs, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower mixed in...mmmm,yummy...but i love junk food and round about,mmmm, NOW, i want to go get a pop and candy bar. but then for dinner i might eat organic pasta w/organic pasta sauce and then after dinner, carmel brownies sound really good....and another pop.

what do you all think? can't i have my twix bar(s....plural plural plural)

I think moderation is the key here. I too am craving junk. I love Cheetos!! So gross I know, but right now they are so yummy. LOL.

I try and eat some healthy and then a little junk when i just have to have it! I have cut out caffinated soda. A coke really helps if my tummy is upset however I have found that a sprite works just as well and I reserve it only for indigestion and general upset.
I do have a cup of coffee occaisionaly and I would rather have that then the soda.

I have been craving lots of cheese and carbs and if I dont eat what i really want I find I wont want to eat at all so I make comprimises.

I ate a Twix bar today (but only one!).
There are a lot of cheeto-type snacks on the market now that do not have all the bad stuff like MSG, transfats, and artificial colors and flavors. Of course, they don't have any more nutritional value than cheetos.
Isn't the rule that you can indulge yourself 20% of the time if you're eating well 80% of the time--or is it 10/90? That means that 20% of your daily calories can come from Twix bars and Cheetos.

Yeah, I also want junk food. Potato chips and french onion dip.

I also find that if I don't eat what I really want, then I won't eat - or can't find anything to eat.

Eat healthy most of the time, and have some junk when you want to.

i indulge in one thing a day or two small things. i totally cut out caffine but i dont really ever crave it and when i do i have root beer because its decaff.

I am eating Cheetos right this second. And I've been totally craving Little Debbie snack cakes (the white ones) - they are so nasty. I know this. And yet I crave their Crisco-like coating and sprinkled goodness.

Mmm, Little Debbie. I love those Little Debbie Nutty Bars (the peanut butter chocolate covered wafers).

Mmmm...I've been really going at it with sweets. With dc #1 I didn't touch any sugar or anything that wasn't healthy, but this time around it's anything goes. I DO tend to buy ORGANIC potato chips and ORGANIC chocolate cookies, so at least I can say that it's junk food without too many chemicals and scary ingredients, right?
And now the holidays are coming up...pumpkin pie with whipped cream...Christmas cookies...chocolates...mmmmm...
I hope I won't develop gestational diabetes with the sugar I've been eating daily...
