Where would you add to the rise? And who is shipping quickly for supplies?

In the middle... would you just lengthen the crotch area? Or do you add to the back? Front? I think I need to add about 2in to the rise of even the large very baby fitted! Funny, because the honeyboy mediums seem to fit her perfectly.
Maybe I'll just take the honeyboy rise, lengthen the area where the tabs would be (and skip the tabs!) and do the elastic like the VB.
I have the very baby fitted pattern, and it seems to just sit too low for my long torso baby! Plus the front tab area on the very baby is just too fat/wide.... they don't lay flat so I may also try and make those thinner with my next batch. A mix of the 2 patterns would be perfect... but I don't really know how to do that sort of thing! I will try, though!

OK... I have to get on the ball and order more PUL and maybe some fleece.
Who is shipping quickly lately. I don't want to wait a week before my order is even shipped because I only have 3 weeks left before my due date so I'll need the supplies quickly!! Help!

i'd do the normal pattern lengthening techniques, but do a inch towards the front more, and a inch towards the rear more, instead of all 2" in the middle of the diaper, yk?

Like measure 2" from the center of the diaper (the crotch) and cut the pattern and increase by 1", repeat for the rear...

If the larges are fitting (other than not liking the rise) I would lengthen your cutouts in the stride (aka the crotch!). I did this to my medium VB AIO pattern because I Could Not get the diaper to look anything but completely silly when I put Katherine in just Mediums. So I added an inch (maybe a teensy bit more) and it's AMAZING the difference it made!!

I wouldn't go two inches at first because really, just even adding an inch makes a HUGE difference!!

(I can't really comment on the HoneyBoy pattern because I don't have that one.. yet!)

And as for shipping, my last order from OSDS was shipped and arrived super quickly. And that was just... last week or the week before? (and, don't tell dh but I ordered MORE last night... I sold off other dipes to fund the purchase of course... but I *really* needed the 1" Aplix to make more xs VBs! Then of course I *needed* more PUL, thread, etc )

Wow, your stash is AWSOME!!!! It makes me want to get an embrodery machine . I'm still working on my own pattern issues so I can't help with that, but i do know that www.diapercuts mails super fast. I ordered from them about a month ago and got it the same week I ordered. I ordered from www.diapershop.com at about the same time and they took almost a week before they mailed my order. In her defense the lady who owns diapershop is like 8 months pregnant right now so that can slow anyone down!

I just ordered from diapershop and it took about a week to get everything. I think I ordered on either Saturday or Sunday and got one package by Thursday and then my smaller order (I wasn't thinking and had to add to the order) on Saturday since Friday was a no mail day.

Adding to the crotch area could cause gapping around the legs, though-- You might want to add length to the front area above where the diaper fastens instead of the crotch. Try to think about where you need the extra length, exactly, and add it there. Seems simple when I say it, but I know it's not!

I have some lavender PUL & white FOE in the Trading Post area, I can ship it quick if you like: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=369468

I'd probably add an inch in the stride and then make a mock with cheap fabric to test for size ('cause I WILL NOT use my PUL unless I know that the pattern is good! I make my own patterns so the modification and making of the mock diaper is a very regular process here. It's saved me a lot of money in fabric.)

As for fast shipping, all I can tell you is that I live in Canada and any PUL that I want has to be shipped from the States since as far as I know, there is no distributer of good quality PUL in Canada. It easily takes 3 weeks for fabric to arrive/ clear customs. So I'm pretty jealous of fabric taking only a week to get to you. sigh.

Of course when I DO order through Wazoodle (which is Canadian) if I use a credit card to pay I can order in the evening and get my fabric within 48 hrs

Thanks everyone!
Emmabella, thanks for the offer, I don't need lavendar.

I went ahead and ordered from diapercuts this time.... and it was $10 cheaper than diapershop for the exact same stuff. (I compared carts!)
4 yards different PUL colors
2 yards sherpa (i haven't used this yet... hope I like it.)
6 yards hook and loop applix.

I'll definitely make a practice diaper. I have a TON of muslin fabric that I use for backdrops so I can cut some of that.
