Toddler Coat/Jacket Pattern?

I'm looking for a pattern to sew a coat for my daughter (15 months) out of a red wool skirt my mother-in-law no longer wants. I like the sort of old-fashioned-looking wool coats (pea coats?)-- maybe about mid-thigh to knee length, preferably with pockets, large buttons or toggles and a hood. I haven't really been able to find a pattern that I like -- any ideas where I might look? Free is nice, but not a prerequisite

I made #6419 for my daughter last year and it was so easy to put together. You could lengthen it and add the toggles easily.

I've also seen #6447 done in a corderoy and it was beautiful. You could attach a hood to that one.

It's not exactly what you're looking for but I HTH.
