My actual midwife has been in Europe on vacation for 3 weeks. I've been seeing her partner. I love them both so much. Merideth (the partner), has been so good to me the past two weeks with everything that has been going on. My daughter actually gave her a hug and a kiss today when we left. She has gotten to know her so well with my frequent visits these past 2 weeks!
Everything looks pretty good as far as my health goes. I had trace protein in my urine and I'm still puffy. Nothing too alarming though. My BP was good, and I don't feel like I have pre-e. I don't feel great because I'm in so much pain, but I don't think I'm going to end up with pre-e. I've been taking all my vitamins, drinking my pregnancy tea, eating pretty well etc...
One thing that has been kind of odd is that my uterun growth has really picked up. I had been measuring right on schedule until about 3 weeks ago. Since then I've been 3-4 weeks ahead. Today I am 32wks 4 days, and I measured 36 weeks. She felt the baby's head down pretty low and then the butt was way up at the top of my ribs! This baby is huge!
I start seeing the OB's on thursday. I have my history and physical appointment, and then I go straight to scheduling a pre-op visit, lol. I really love the nurse practitioner who does the history visits. She used to be a HB midwife. It will be nice to see her first and ease back into the medical world of pregnancy.
