anyone have a free pattern for carseat cover?

I'd like to make a fleece cover for dd's baby bucket carseat and I don't want to buy a pattern. I know it can't be that complicated, but I just need some tips. Does anyone know of free instructions somewhere?

I just made one. I just laid the fabric over the seat and cut all around, leaving several inches to make the casing for the elastic. Then when that was done, elastic in, I put it on the seat and cut out a hole where I thought the baby's head would be, if her were a newborn all the way till he outgorws the seat. That way I can use it for the next one. Then I just sewed a rectangle flap that covers almost the whole front so I didn't have to bother w/ velcro. I like it.

I need to just dive in and do it. Thanks for the tips!

I made the mistake of googling last night and found this one. Now I want it to look like those! But I'm lazy and don't want to figure it out. I just want baby to be warm!

This is a pattern for making a one-hour cover out of fleece. I haven't tried it, but thought of your post when I ran across it this afternoon (I clearly need to spend less time reading in the craft forum on mdc, lmao!)
