Wool cover from felted wool flannel: 1 layer or 2???

For those who have made wool covers from wool flannel, do you prefer one layer or two? I haven't made any yet, but I'm using ones I made from just one layer of wool jersey and they work great so far.

Wondering if I can get away with using 1 layer of flannel or if it would be a waste and I'd need 2 (I don't use wool covers for night, if that sheds any light....)

TIA!!!

If you like 1 layer wool jersey covers, you will probably like 1 layer wool flannel covers. There are so many variables, it is hard to say. How heavy is your flannel, what you use under them, is your daughter a heavy or light wetter. I'd go with your instincts!
