with my dd I bought several slings, a snugli, a fleece pouch made to my size and NONE of them were comfy for me. I am 5'1 with enormous boobs and a short waist. I was thinking of getting a baby bjorn but the drawback is I can't nurse in it and I have heard it can be bad for their spine.
I am not sure what I will do this time. I did not get my fleece pouch until she was 4 months and then I was wearing it over bulky winter clothing. This baby is due mid-may so the weater will be warm but the clothing will be lighter. I will try it when the babe is a newborn and see how it works out. Even with the snugli which I only used twice for short periods hung down to my knees with my few day old dd in it because I am so short.
I would really like something comfy to wear my baby in - especially now that I already have a child to keep after.

my ring slings. They can't be beat. I can cinch it up so the baby is above my waist and just kind of lays on my chest. As long as the tail isn't too long, it should work well for you. I'm hoping to try a pouch this time for the early days. I'm looking at the Mamma's Milk (
