TMI question...

I wear thong underwear a lot. But ever since having dd (01/05)... it hurts after a few hours now. I have NEVER had this problem before. I found them to be very comfortable. Not anymore.... and I've even tried different kinds, different fabric... etc. Its all the same... after a few hours, it feels sore and uncomfortable.

Has anyone else had this problem? Could this be a result of stitches? I don't know what else really changed, I guess. This is very frustrating, though... I like my underwear.

you might be developing a latex allergy, or it could be a sensitivity to your laundry detergent. Or you might just be more sensitive down there. Things change after you have a baby. The shape of things has changed, and thong underwear might just be rubbing you wrong Lots of women have that problem, with or without having a baby first.

What stafl said! It took me many months before I could comfortable wear a thong again. The comfort issue also improved when I purchased the next size up! I'd grown a little and my pre-preg thongs were a little smaller than they used to be.

I'm hoping that eventually I will be able to wear them comfortably again.

It has been 11ish months since I had dd... I would think thats enough time to know if I'm going to adjust?

I don't know about latex, though..... do they have latex in them?

As for size -- I have several different sizes, and all of them feel the same, actually.

I know I'll keep trying to wear them... but I guess it might just be the end of them for me. That sucks.

Just a thought -- have you tried wearing a thong panty liner with them. Maybe it would be a little more "cushiony".

Could you have a little excess yeast? Thongs tend to allow yeast and bacteria to migrate to various areas a little better than regular undies.
