This is just one of those things I need to put out there. Every year my inlaws come to visit for Thanksgiving. They are nice, etc. But I think the thing I look forward to the most is the kick in the rear end it gives me to get the house in order. Last few years thoug I did minimal and it really is starting to show, the clutter is weighing me down. Dh is not much help - he feels since we do not have enough space to put everything away properly, that we should not bother doing anything at all. Very all or nothing for him. The girls are finally at an age that they will let me do some work why they are around, so long as they are nearby. The biggest task is going through the old clothes I had been keeping for my sister who is due in a few weeks and the paper - that needs to be shredded for recycle, filed or otherwise handled. I have 1.5 days to do this. Why do I wait until the last second?
It really helps to get this written down.
