Horrible stomach ache...

If I don't feel better in the AM I'll call my OB. I have had a horrible stomach ache/nausea for the last 30 hours. It comes and goes, and is worse when I eat. I haven't thrown up or anything, I just feel terrible. No fever. Does this sound like a bug or what?

I just got over a bug like this. Mine lasted about 36 hours and then I was a bit better. I really couldn't eat anything without being in really awful pain. I also never threw up or had any other symptoms to speak of. If mine had lasted any longer I would've called my midwife. (((hugs))) I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks...I'm not really feeling much better this morning and I've lost 3 pounds. I'm just laying on the couch trying to ride it out.

I'd call. At least your ob could tell you if there's something going around (for some reason that always makes me feel better!). I lost a bit of weight too. I wasn't too concerned because it didn't seem to stop the baby from moving around as usual. But, yours seems to be hanging on for a while and not getting any better. Can you keep water down? Does anything sound good?

I'm not having trouble keeping things down, it just HURTS to eat. She's moving a LOT (maybe even more than usual?) but it just hurts. I'm not contracting any more than the usual BH every now and then...I'll call.

I would call....it is not uncommon during pregnancy to develop gallbladder issues which can cause horrible stomach pain.

The pain is high, right in the middle so I don't think it's gallbladder. She called and told me there IS a bug going around, and if I start feeling worse to take a phenergan. Not very helpful, but oh well.
