I had a November '04 baby and I'm just feeling really sentimental and ya'll are making me cry with your birth stories and questions and whining( ). I just miss it all so much. I saw a newborn baby last night and it made me want one all over again. Good thing I got an IUD and can't get pregnant. Another thing that's probably causing this is the fact that my cycle just returned and I'm ovulating right now for the first time since my babies birth. I'm sure it's just hormonal.

Anyway, just wanted to tell you all that this is such a sweet and precious time in your lives, even if you are way overdue. Go get some awesome henna art on your belly so you'll enjoy these last days. That's what I'm going to do next time. Well, thanks for letting me sneak in here for a few moments.

Awww thanks! I was just looking at Sydney today and thought of this exact thing.

She was fussing and her movements were jerky and frantic, so I laid her down on my bed and started talking to her and suddenly she got quiet and her movements became fluid. She hasn't smiled with her mouth yet (except sleepy gas bubbles!) but she smiles with her eyes!!

I know I'm guilty of wishing it would get here but know that it comes so quickly and before you know it this time passes, never to return. I'm cherishing every day.

Awww schileemama, you know what I did just last week?? I went over to the "life with a babe" forum & read the entire Nov '04 ddc's "Our babies are turning one!" thread, and *I* got teary-eyed!! I was reminded over & over just how fast they grow. I was looking at pictures of your ddc's big one year olds & realizing that that will be all of our babies soon. And I got all nostalgic for our wonderful little Nov ddc even though it's still going strong. It's been such a wonderful journey sharing my pregnancy with these women in this forum. And I am positive that next Nov, I will be doing exactly what you are & reading next year's ddc & being all nostalgic!

How ironic Aubrey, that you would be over in my area and I'm visiting yours. Having a 1 yr. old is awesome too! But, man, to hold a newborn again. I don't think I've even got to hold a newborn in a long time. They are just so precious!
