Homemade oatmilk

Any one have a recipe? Tips? I don't want to buy it. I make my own soymilk, so is it similar proportions?

I posted the same qn before but no one seems to make their own oatmilk.

Anyway, I did find one recipe later, maybe you wanna try it:

4 cups (cold) water
1 ripe banana
2 cups cooked oatmeal
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt (optioal)
sweetener to taste (if desired)

Plcae everything in blender and process until smooth, abt 2-3 minutes. Refrigerate. Shake before using.
You may wantto half the amt to see how you like it before making more.

I am so happy that someone makes oatmilk! I make oat muffins and thought that this would be a great tasting liquid. I also want to copy a lotion that I just love and it is made with oat milk.
Now, to find that extra 5 hours in my day. . . .

Thanks, I never know what to do with leftover oatmeal! I am going to give this a try!
