BL402 Protege

Help! I have the opportunity to get a BL402 Protege but I can't find anything with a google search. Is this a really old BL model? Does anyone own one of these? Should I buy it? I've asked about it needed to be serviced and am waiting to hear back from the person. Is $220 a good price?
Thanks so much! I've never used a serger but I can sew.

Oh would I be able to make diapers with this machine or do I need a better model?I want to make clothes and serge raw edges of fleece.

I just got a BL302 on eBay for just over $100 including shipping. It isn't in perfect condition--needs a new blade, etc. But it works fine--I imagine a 402 would be just a bit newer. I made a pocket diaper with it and liked how it turned out.

I am a novice at sewing, so if you are good at it, you may want a more advanced machine. I've heard excellent things about Babylock sergers and tried them out at a sewing store before deciding to look for one.
