RRL tea in a pregnancy after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage in December and dh and I are planning to start TTC again after my next cycle. I'd like to do everything possible to make this a healthy pregnancy (even though that didn't matter before, but anyway). I'd like to start taking RRL tea befor TTC in hopes of "prepping" my uterus, however given the miscarriage is it safe.

Just a bit of history I have a 20 month old who is nursing twice a day, he was a wonderful uneventful pregnancy, and I had the miscarriage in December at 5.5 weeks.

I know it's safe "normally" but am I considered "normal"

I'm not a doctor or an herbalist, but all my information says yes, it's safe. It's a very safe herb whether you're pg or not, and it's great for childbearing years because it is such a wonderful uterine toner. It has no adverse effects that I know of. It is not an emengouge at anytime. (doesn't bring on your period - or start contractions, it merely supports the uterus).

Best wishes.

RRL tea is great to tone and heal your uterus. I drank it like crazy after my m/c. I craved it. Maybe my body needed it. I know it is high in Vitamin C.

I know they say if you have a history with m/c not to have it in the first trimester but am now about 10 weeks pregnant and have a glass here and there. And so far no problems. We have our 2nd prenatal tomorrow. We had a sonogram at 7 1/2 weeks and saw our babes heartbeat.

I have a 22 month and am nursing him.

Hang in there and good luck.
