Have you seen the Holiday Helper/Moms in Need thread in the Talk Amongst Ourselves forum? We really need MDC members to help out other MDC members in need this holiday season. Everything from good used condition items (household, clothes, diapers, etc.) to a few extra dollars of PayPal to gift certificates could be used to help other MDC mamas and their families who might not otherwise have things like enough food, warm clothes, etc. this holiday! So please, check out this thread and do what you can to help! This is most certainly a parenting issue, don't you agree?!? 
And if you are a MIN (Mama In Need), please contact those in charge to find out how you can receive some assistance this year, too!
Also, if you have some items that you think you could send on, but perhaps need help with the postage, be sure to contact the organizers, too -- they are trying to assign Postage Fairies to those in this situation. So that we can spread as much love as possible!
