Bulletin board, big paper rolls?

I have a wall in the play/school area and right now I put posters up that match what we are working on. Right now is an alphabet zoo poster, that is so helpful when DD works on puzzles, or tries to write a letter. Shes pretty good at remembering what starts with a letter, and just find the photo like E for Elephant.

I still have space though and I think itd be a blast to decorate it like a bulletin board : http://www.angelfire.com/mn/kellysho...oom/winter.htm

But our walls are plaster and its a pita to hang anything up on them. Usually falls down, and ends with a crumbly hole. So I was thinking maybe we could just put paper up, and then tape/glue up what we want on there and we can decorate the paper.

Does anyone know where I can find the big paper rolls?

what I have done in the past is call newspapers and ask if they sell roll ends of newsprint. Depending on where you are, the printer may be close to you. that's the first thing off the top of my head!

we bought a big roll of white butcher paper at sam's... we use it for a "tablecloth" and have crayons for it (kind of like macaroni grill). obviously DS isn't old enough to use it yet, but i can't wait til he is!

This is what I'd do! I also saw some at Staples that were colored.

Lakeshore Learning

I have both of their catalogs and they have big rolls of paper in white and other colors. They also have holders and stuff for them. Its a teacher supply store so they have lots of good things.

Have you considered cork tiles on the wall? http://www.dickblick.com/zz614/59/
I'm sure you can probably get them at a hardware store too.

Just last night, I purchased some paper rolls (though not that big) at Target...I believe they were $5 a piece, $10 for the paper roll dispenser with a paper roll in it. I'm not sure if this would work for you, but you might check it out the next time you're in the area of a Target.
