Hi all, a quick note to say our Valerie Jean arrived 11/23/05 at 5:45 pm.
Labored at home for a while with my doula, went to the hospital Wed am, my midwife was "out of town". I ended up with a great nurse who was very accomodating and a couple of great doctors. More details later, but ended up with and epidural and had a vaginal birth as planned after c/sec. She was 8lbs and 4 oz. Nursing great but cropped up some ABO incompatibility jaundice and a very suspicious CBC (likely due to hyperreactive bone marrow response to the blood type) So I am d/c but she is insisiting on a leisurely course of hospital treatment and bili lights. She is so yummy though.

I love the name Valerie. That's awesome that you got to have a VBAC. May she turn from yellow to pink asap!
