Adeline arrived just before midnight on Turkey Day. We had planned a homebirth but after a couple days of labor and still only being at 4cm 70% effaced I was running out of steam to cope with contractions - so we made the choice to go to the hospital and get an epidural.

We got everything else we wanted - and I pushed her out into her Daddy's hands in just under an hour. We went home after about 16 hours and we are resting now. She is impossibly beautiful and I love her more than I thought was possible.
