Lottie is here! - Pics fixed I hope

Well, early yesterday was indeed early labor. My MW came yesterday at noon and swept membranes again. I lay down when she left and immediately started having contractions that I had to moan through.

MW left about 12:20 and she was back less than two hours later to catch my baby at 2:05!

Labor was unbelievably quick and relatively easy. Bringing her down was hard but when she really got low it started to feel great.

She was 8 lb., 11 oz. and 23 inches long!

I'll post more details and pictures a little later. Just wanted to let everyone know.

BTW, she was 16 DAYS OVERDUE! It was hard to wait but when it started on its own (mostly), I was so glad and it was so worth the wait to let my body be truly ready.

Wow, so many fast births around here! And so many of them to mamas who had waited quite a long time to see their little ones!

YAY Natalie! Congratulaions to you, DH, and Maisie!!! So nice to hear about your quick and easy birth -- ESPECIALLY since she was overdue. Gives me hope!!

Congrats, Natalie!

My babe was almost as early as yours was later than EDD. So cool that we can trust our bodies and our babes to come when they are ready. Way to hang in there!
