Breast milk storage bags & Enfamil

Today I had to get some storage bags and when I checked out I got a printed coupon with my receipt. I looked at it in the car thinking it would be a coupon for storage bags (which I could totally use!) But no... it was a coupon for 4.50 of enfamil : on the coupon it said most like bm

Why does this happen? Who is in charge of this? I WANT A COUPON FOR STORAGE BAGS!!!!!!!

All I can say is that is so completely ridiculous! Grrrrrr.

I hate those things! I'll buy a packet of Huggies (we use sposies for emergencies and when we're out if I don't pack enough cloth) and get a coupon for formula. Drives me up the wall!

This happens because Enfamil pays for the advertising at the supermarket- buy anything "baby related" and you'll get coupons for the companies who paid for "baby related" coupons.

I beleive that the higher-ups in the supermarket have the power to accept or reject specific coupons- I'm not sure if this decision is made at the store or corporate level, but somewhere in the chain of command is somebody who wants money from Enfamil AND wants your business.

Thanks for the information Ruth. That really stinks! :

I always get a coupon for the opposite of what I buy. I buy kleenex, get a coupon for puffs. It's a marketing ploy to get people to switch products. And it works. My mom will switch brands if she has a coupon.

yeah Ruth, thanks because I have always wondered that same thing!
and i, too, will switch brands if I have a coupon

Sell your coupons on Ebay to buy breastmilk storage bags. That's what I did
