What's everyone sewing for the holidays?

I really need to get on the ball with my holiday sewing. I'm making my grandma a bag for her crochet stuff, tote bags for the boys' teachers, and I want to make a couple of doorway puppet theaters (one for my kids, one to give to a friends kids). Dd needs more winter clothes and I signed up to sew for the holiday helper thread so as soon as I get a MIN I'll start on that. I was going to make rag quilts for my neice and nephew but I'm starting to rethink that, we'll see if I have time after I get everything else done :LOL

What's everyone else making?

I want to try making some puppets for the girls. I am definately making pillowcases/tote bags for them, they love stashing things into the pillowcases they have. I might also try embroirdering some hankerchiefs for my dad.

I'm sewing aprons for my SILs, fleece socks for my BILs and mama cloth for a couple of friends. I am also sewing pillowcases for my kids and knight costumes for the boys if I have the time. I have tote bags to decorate and gift as library bags for my kids too. And I would like to make some bean bags for the baby.

Nothing too difficult because I want to be able to finish my projects quickly. I love the motivation of the holidays, but there is never enough time!

I'm sewing tote bags for my sister and my boyfriend's daughter, makeup/toiletry bags for my mom, SIL, and other sister;
bean bags for my niece; aprons for a bunch of people; eye bags with rice and lavendar for some people; and some pants for the daughter of a MIN I'm helping. :

elsie, will you post pictures of the puppets after you make them? I've always wanted to try those.

I'm sewing a purse for DD. She's obsessed with my purse and I really would prefer she had her own to carry around and empty. I even bought her a fake phone to go inside because she LOVES my phone as well.
I also want her to have a strap that isn't long enough to go around her neck.

I'm not actually sewing anything, but am super excited about this Christmas! I'm 'making' fleece blankets for my sis, bil, bro, sil, nieces and nephews, friends' kids. Some I'm doing single ply, some I'm doing two pieces fringed and tied together. I did Strawberry Shortcake for my sis bc she loved her when we were kids. I'm desperately trying to find GI Joe for my BIL for the same reason...not much luck, tho.

I quilt and can't possibly keep up with everyone's families, so I thought this would be a good compromise!

My MIL made some of those for my kids for Christmas last year and they love them! A great thing about the two ply ones is that when dd falls asleep without a diaper cover on I can just scoot it under her and save the carpet (she likes to nap where she falls :LOL).

I'm going to make some potholders for my MIL, makeup bags for my SIL's, and fleece mittens, hat and scarf for my sister. I'm also making a blanket for my nephew - bright red furry fleece and minki. Its going to be odd looking, but he asked for it!
I'm in the middle of making my husband a fleece coat, but I'm not sure I'll get it finished.

IF I can find a pattern, I'm gonna make my dd a fleece poncho for Christmas. I got the most adorable fleece/velour ( i cant decide which it is) at Joann's today. It's Pink with snow flakes and sequens on it, too cute.

Heres a pic of it. ,..... http://photobucket.com/albums/c211/b...fromjoanns.jpg
