Have you read Derrick Jensen's newest book?

Or heard anything about it? I loved A language Older than Words, and cant wait to read his latest, but I want someone to tell me what they think of Welcome to the Machine (http://www.derrickjensen.org/published.html) before I ask for it or get it from the library.

I really wanted to revive this thread. I'm reading "A Language Older Than Words" right now, and it is extraordinary. Derrick Jensen has been my dp's favorite author for a couple years, and I'm just starting to read his books. The man is more than inspirational, and his books will change your life (or at least the way you look at life). The book does contain details of graphic violence that has been perpetrated by Western Culture on indigenous cultures and the land. I have not read "Welcome to the Machine," but my dp has, and says that it's pretty terrifying. It's about domestic spying technology, surveillance, and bizzare methods of doing the aforementioned. It is an excellent book. We are going to see Derrick Jensen speak in a couple of weeks. We are really looking forward to it. Please check out his books. They are very powerful, well-written, and touching.
