dd#2 was born late saturday night weighing in at 8 lbs. on the dot
First contraction Saturday 11:10 PM (9 contractions total)
Baby in arms Saturday 11:50 PM (pushed about 1-2minutes total, if even that)
Yes, u read that right
it was an unplanned unassisted (except dh and myself) homebirth and it was INTENSE and FAST (i had no idea i was in labor till at ctx #9 i felt her part of her head was out)
we are doing great, i'm still a little shocked/traumatized but otherwise OK
when i'm up to it i'll post the detailed but short birth story
she's so lovely and looks just like dd#1
hoping everyone's labor goes much more calm but more importantly for healthy babies...

My labor seemed overwhelmingly fast & it was 1.5 hours after I realized I was actually in labor that my chicken was born. Wow.... 9 contractions! What do you think might happen if you have another baby?!
