I just finished this book in 1.5 days of sporadic reading and I wish I could re read it without knowing what happens again!

This is by far one of the best books I have ever read in my life.... Anyone else??????

Great book! Its been awhile since I read it so its not as clear but I thought it was a really fascinating story. I heard Brad Pitts company is making it into a movie...and he has considered being in it. Umm I could picture a dark haired Pitt as Henry. Maybe someone like Kate Winslet as Claire?

I liked this book too! I read it awhile ago though I thought about it for months afterwards. I have several friends from Chicago, so I was quizzing them about locale etc. Seems pretty accurate...from what they could tell...? Anyone know.

I don't know if a movie would be a bummer after the book. Hmmmm...

It was recommended to me as a "light read"---um, not really a light read. But a good book nonetheless.

Fantastic read. I think it's a very flowing book, which makes it an "easy" read in the sense that you aren't continually bumping up against things. But I agree, it's not light. I loved it. Now I want to go read it again.

I'd hope that Henry wouldn't be Brad Pitt. I'd like to see someone, herm, different, I suppose. Liam Neeson is too old, maybe Heath Ledger?

I loved this book! I read it at the beginning of the year and could probably re-read it soon. I thought it was going to be hard to follow and choppy but it wasn't.
I'm not to sure about it being made into a movie though...

I too, thought this book was wonderful. It was so well written I couldn't pick up another book for weeks. I just didn't want to be disappointed with some crappy writing. I did the same thing with another all time favorite "Stones from the River." Once you get a taste of good literature it's hard to settle for anything less.

I couldn't put this book down and I thought the time travel, etc was well done and the writing was good but I found myself extremely disappointed by the ending. A little to sentimental or something. But overall a great read.

I read this book a while back and I liked it too. It flowed well and really held your interest. You have me thinking about who should play Henry in a movie version. It would have to be someone who could believably look both young and old.

I'm one of those that don't get the hype, it wasn't bad or anything, but not one of the best books ever
