Hi everybody, this is my first post in this forum. For an early Christmas gift DH bought me a Brothers sewing machine. I'm not sure what model but it has a foot pedal, other accesories, and what not. He is picking it up tonight. Now I've never sewed a thing in my life
, and apparently this is a pretty decent machine and I really want to learn. I do have a few small projects I need to do like make curtains, hem and patch jeans... And eventually want to learn how to quilt. Way far ahead I know. Whats the best way to practice or teach yourself? He had a lady that works at the shop help him pick out everything I need to get started. Half of it I don't even know what its for. Is it easy to teach yourself as you go? Or do I need to find someone to show me? ANy tips would be great.
