Symptoms?

I start feeling slightly nauseaus just before I miss a period and a friend of mine was surprised because she thought most don't start feeling sick until 7 or 8 wks. I started wondering about what all of your experiences have been so far. What are you experiencing right now and when did it start?

This pg it's been the same. Nausea starting about when I'm supposed to miss a period, so around 4 weeks. Sore bb's starting about a week before, so around 3 weeks. I'm slightly more tired than usual but I couldn't really pin point a date.

Oh, I'm having waves of nauseous...I'm officially late for my period tomorrow but I have two faint positive tests.

I didn't get nauseous with dd (8mos) until 8 weeks though. Every pregnancy's different for sure

With Layla (my first) I started feeling sick around the 8 week mark and with this one I am now feeling sick and I am only 5 weeks...so like kindermama said each pregnancy is different. I also have found that I have been really tired, more then usual. Good luck with it all

I am feeling pretty nauseous right now. I threw up my entire last pregnancy and I am hoping to not have a repeat. At least this time I have a little extra meat on my bones to start off with.
My biggest symptom has been thirst. I feel like I can not get enough water. I'm drinking about a gallon a day. I haven't gained any weight yet but my pants are feeling tighter. I'm feeling pretty bloated, like I'm going to float away, yet I'm still thirsty. I know this sounds pretty negative but all things considered, I'm actually feeling pretty good. Plus, my breasts look like I had plastic surgery. Can't complain there!(Neither can dh.) :

last time, the fatigue was terrible and the nausea lasted from about 8-11 wks.
this time, i'm already peeing all the time and am pretty tired but i have a terrible cold. i am wondering if my milk supply is already dropping though, because dd has been nursing nonstop the past three days and "pumping" the opposite breast while she nurses, as if to get more milk.

One of my classmates (also a good friend) told me last week that I was PG because I almost passed out after getting a whiff of formalin in my Gross Anatomy lab. Turns out she was right! Tomorrow or Friday would probably be when AF is due and I got a medium line on an HPT on Monday AM, so things are starting off strong, thank goodness.

My main deal when I am PG is that I am very sensitive to smells - mostly chemicals, especially the fake perfumes and crap they put in detergents to make them smell good. Anyone else like that? So when I was doing laundry this past weekend (before the HPT) I couldn't stay in the laundry room while the washer was going. I also felt round ligament pain last week. Other than that, I'm just very tired in the evenings and mornings and feeling a little bloated. No nausea yet, but I'm sure it's lurking aorund the corner. I started feeling sick at about 6 to 8 weeks the other times.

Robynee, I'm thirsty too! I hate drinking water normally but I finished off a liter today! And I'm still wanting more.

I'm nursing now, too, Glittergal. I nursed throughout my second PGcy but since DD2 is a little older than DD1 was, I'm hoping things won't be quite so intense this time. Yes! I think they know somehow! LOL

I have been very sensitive to smells. I keep telling dh to take out the trash and he keeps telling me that it isn't full. He can't smell it but it drives me crazy.

Well now that I am positive some things make sense. For the last week or so I having been feelign very fat.....you know that bloated feeling where nothing fits right. I am having some all day sick feeling too. I was really suprised to be sick this soon. Luckily I feel great this morning so we'll see how the rest of the day goes.

I have been really tired as well......at least I have a good reason to nap now!

My only symptoms so far, at 4.5 weeks, are....peeing more at night, more tired and slight breast tenderness. I never had huge pg symptoms with my other pg's either...more nausea with my dd and the last pg.

Expecting another bundle of joy 8/7/06!

Me, too.

I can smell dry cat food from a room away. I fell like a really useless comic book superhero--the Smellinator.

I smell the bad guy, Batman!

My symptoms so far:

1. Suddenly detesting the mushrooms in my fridge and saying to myself, I never ever want to eat or even see another mushroom in my life. This was before I knew I was pregnant. I had conceived probably one week prior to this. Weird.

2. Tender breasts, but not more than normal premenstrual.

3. No nasaua, but felt a little shaky at times in the last few days.

4. TIRED!!!!!!

I know they say it's not real to the dh's in the beginning but you would think after 6 times that he finally would. I am sooo tired too and all I want to do is sleep. I have been very busy this week with something going on all day and into the evenings (different every day) plus my dd has strep throat so has been waking us up every night about 2:30. I desperately need a good nights rest.

So what does he do last night? Wakes me at 11:30 to bd! URGH! He asked me this morning if I was pretty tired. I felt like saying 'yeah, duh!'. He said I guess I shouldn't wake you in the middle of the night anymore. I was thinking 'it's fine, just THINK before you do it!'

Sorry, venting. Just feeling really irritated this morning!

I hear ya! When I was pregnant with ds, I think dh was freaked out by the whole thing and we didn't bd much at all. This time he has turned into an animal! We're both always exhausted at night though. He's a morning kind of guy. I get up with him and see him off to work in the morning so it actually helps me to wake up.

I've had really sore BBs for nearly a week - they were starting to get better, so I was trying to convince myself it was just PMS. Today, since I tested, they're way worse. Psychological?

I've had one day of extreme fatigue and a few small waves of naseau, but nothing serious. Wtih my daughter I didn't even know at this point (found out at 5 1/2 weeks) so I'm not surprised that there's not a lot going on right now.

As far as sleep, my daughter still tends to wake at least once in the night. It's not too horrible now that we've moved her back into our room, but last night she woke up at 5:30 (very cheerful, I might add) and was awake for about an hour. After she went to sleep is when I tested, and then I didn't get back to sleep. I've been tired late afternoon but then having trouble getting to sleep.

I almost don't want to post here... (don't wanna jinx myself- I have been having some problems)...but...
I've felt nauseas over the last couple of days & my nipples have been sore for several (which I thought was just due to DD nursing)
I only got a faint this morning...

Feeling WAY more sick today. That's gotta be a good sign...I've heard before that the sicker you feel- the 'stronger' the pregnancy
