what movie should we go see?

dh and I have free passes to go see a movie on Friday, December 9th.

Any recommendations? We will probably take the kids to see The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe later that weekend. We have already seen HP. Anything good playing that you know of? We haven't gone to a movie together in a LONG time!

RENT! That movie was absolutely breathtaking! I can't say enough about how good it was. I've been listening to the soundtrack nonstop for five days.

Walk the Line was good, I loved the music, but it isn't for kids though

This is a kid-free evening - hence all the excitement Since the movie is already paid for, we are going out to our favourite Indian restaurant first. Our "baby" just turned six, it is kind of fun getting out alone together once in awhile after so many years of being with the kids all of the time. I don't have any regrets about not leaving them with a babysitter when they were little, but it sure is fun to do it once in awhile now!

I want to see Pride and Prejudice as well as Rent and Walk the Line.

I saw Walk the Line and loved it but my sisters thought it was to drawn out. I would also like to see Pride and Prejudice, I loved the book. I'll probably wait until it comes out on video though.

Oohh... if you're having Indian first why not make it a theme night and see Water? It's the third movie in a trilogy (Fire and Earth being the first two) by Deepa Mehta. It stands on it's own as well though.
